Just why have these consumer-friendly features been missing from TV GUIs for so long? Over the years services have popped up to cleanse TV streams of ads remotely like aero/tivo but very few solutions put the user in total control instantly without setup costs. We've heard of the existence of the temporary mute button on TV remote controllers (from the TV manufacturer) but never seen one in the flesh until we made it ourselves - this feature alone is a godsend because it saves you from missing the whole next part of your show you forgot to UNMUTE. Consequently, it's an always free feature in our free app.

Getting started
All you need is an M3U/IPTV playlist of live channels, download the free RelaxoPlayer app, select any channel and it will start playing and blocking ads for you - it's free during beta. For those new to IPTV see What is IPTV?
How It Works
- A video player app for Android and Android TV with IPTV (M3U/EPG guide) functionality wrapped around it.
- You can use it as an external player in other IPTV players or add your own M3U playlist (recommended).
- The Adblock works by latching onto the Live broadcast logo continuously
- Double tap the screen at any time to kill ads instantly, our smart timers will unmute gently for you once the ad is over.
What's The Catch?
The system isn't perfect and you may need to correct it from time to time. Instead of muting and unmuting ads manually you now just have to be aware of when the broadcast logo is disappearing for long stretches when it isn't meant to, during bright snow and sky footage usually, and manually intervene those false positives by pressing or swiping up before or after they happen. It's rare and quite easy to catch the system slipping as you are watching anyway. If you want to get up and walk away and not miss anything you can just press up a few times to turn the adblock system off for a few minutes.

Channel B is your first fallback, in case of ads that is where the stream will move to. We give you a few seconds to reverse an adblock event in case of false positive meaning we mute and blur the screen just enough for you to tell if it is an ad or not without experiencing it fully.
The idea is to give the user a way to easily change fallbacks while they watch so something interesting is always on screen. Think of fallbacks as things you don't mind having on instead of ads during the session. Voila you now have the foundations of Adblock for Live TV.
